increasing use of mosaics has been brought about
not so much as the result of a resurgence of
interest but because the skilled craftspeople
needed to produce fine work of this kind are
comparatively few and far between. Times
change - but not fashion it seems - these

stone that are applied to a mesh by hand, making
them easy to lay as well as to
